Consumer Connection System (CCS)
CCS is the most in-depth media and marketing survey out there. It has a sample size of 3000+ and includes detailed media usage data in the Bought, Owned, and Earned media ecosystem, as well as broad information about consumer lifestyle, personality, and attitudes, coupled with in-depth information about different category and brand usage and preferences.
CCS Follow-up Surveys
We offer our clients a chance to create ad-hoc CCS follow-up surveys to gain even more in-depth knowledge about the specific category or brand. The unique feature of CCS follow-up surveys is the possibility to link this data directly into the existing CCS database. This way, we can provide our clients with analysis and segmentations based on all the consumer and media related information from CCS together with newly acquired information about the specific product or brand from a follow-up survey.

Tracking Output
Campaign output measurement reports are provided to all our clients. Tracking outputs is the most basic and direct level of campaign productivity evaluation. It gives basic information about community exposure to any given message in any given time, and is measured with metrics like GRP, TRP, Impressions, Reach, Frequency, etc.
Measuring Outcome
Campaign outcomes are the changes that have taken place within the audience because of the campaign, such as attitudes towards the campaign, increased knowledge or awareness, behaviour changes, consumers trying to educate themselves about the topic, etc. Such outcomes cannot be measured by simple output metrics; thus more sophisticated techniques are needed. Therefore, Carat Latvia’s in-house research department encourages clients to look beyond simple measurement of campaign output.

Carat’s approach to design and its essence
When we think about daily products, details, architectonics, and the things that surround us, we understand that they all are interconnected…and design is one of the connecting elements. We look at design sustainably, by thinking and bringing it into practice today. Each day, when working with design, we encounter various identity features through the processing of which we are able to make competitive and exclusive design. We do not confine ourselves to only one type of design, such as application design. Our “luggage” contains the entire spectre of rainbow colours. We are open to changes, new challenges, and bringing the impossible into effect. Our aim is to achieve the result with maximum quality according to our customers’ needs. The design by Carat tells very much – it makes the people think. Our design encompasses four-tier schematics, which is applied perfectly and improved to a digital kind of waltz.
Print and layout design
Historically, print design is the most ancient way of presenting advertisements. It emerged before our era when hieroglyphs and schematic sketches were found in caves. With the issuing of the first book, print design came to existence. In print design, several conditions dominate which need to be met in order for design to function and draw attention. The first and foremost thing is the selection of the font and colour complexity. Typographical rules and observation of margins from edges and paragraphs in the page help to arrange these elements perfectly. When developing layouts, it is recommended to consider the format and size of the advertisement in good time. For print we use various files, such as: *.eps; *.psd; *.ai; *.pdf; *.tiff; *.png; *.jpg; *.dwg, etc.
Online banner design
The main function of a banner is to attract the attention of portal visitors and make them open to certain information. However, it is important to ensure that the information provided in a banner is not misleading about the related information. Web or advertisement banners are a part of a form of advertisement. Banners are placed in various portals and web pages depending on the strategy, or on the customer. We integrate in banners the unique clickTag with the help of which we are able to determine the banner’s traffic. It identifies the number of clicks, etc. Web banners work just like advertisements, by providing information content to consumers about a product or service.
Our banners are fundamentally elaborated in Adobe Flash; however, they can be created also in Dreamweaver and Illustrator applications. We can prepare files in any size and design solution. The most common banner formats supported by the Latvian portals are *.gif; *.jpg; *.png; *.swf; *.html; *.html5, including Actionscript 2.0, or 3.0-type control encryption.
Creative design
We are certified to work with the Adobe® Creative Suite® 6, Design & Web Premium package which includes Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver , Flash, AIR, Media Encoder, and InDesign software. In our work, we use over 30 types of 2D, 3D and 4D computer-aided design software. In order to achieve the final result, we use four design development stages. It all starts with draft sketches and ends on a 3D printer. The creative idea is based on originality – in order to achieve something unprecedented, it is important to think and to believe the impossible.
